My music is inspired by my life’s experiences, both large and small. I guess you could say I’ve been composing a personal soundtrack for years. My melodies express my joy and heartache, loneliness and togetherness, dreams and reality. When I sit down to play, maybe it’s really a glimpse of grace I search for, or more likely, need.

The world's uncertainties and doubts of the past few years powerfully motivated me to record this, my second album, in the way I’d always heard it: with instrumental and vocal accompaniment. I knew it was time to reach out to a musician and producer I’ve long respected, Will Ackerman. I’m grateful that he and Tom Eaton shared my vision and brought together the amazingly talented musicians who helped create this album. I’m delighted with the results, and I hope my own glimpses of grace might help you find yours. – Kurt Reiman, September 2022
